If you follow GT racing in Australia, chances are you have heard of Andrew Miedecke. Andrew is the owner of this freshly restored RS500 Sierra once raced by Andrew and the King of the Mountain, the late Peter Brock. No expense was spared in this complete ground up rebuild with the car being returned to the identical livery to how it finished its last race, with Brock and Miedecke claiming victory at Pukekohe Raceway at the end of the 1990 season.

The car will be on display at this weeks Bathurst 1000 with a number of other cars made famous by Peter Brock to mark the 10 years of his passing. We were lucky enough to be track side when this piece of automotive history turned its first laps in anger since its rebuild. Check out this weapon and a heap of other cars raced by Brock at this years Bathurst 1000.
