Saturday was again had everyone looking at the skies, as the weather was the hot topic again. light  local rains enough to wet the track on who ever is out at the time just enough to play havoc with everyone as cool wind and poss rain lay ahead for the riders. But it was Marc Marquez at the top of the time sheets for the Qualifying. Still on a charge after just being crowned champion. he wasn’t letting up for no-one and stormed to his 5th pole in a row at the Island. And in doing so, The Honda rider equalled Casey Stoners record of 5 in a row! Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) starts second next to Marquez and Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) takes the last spot for third on the front row.
