Having been given an invite to come back this year and shoot the event, I was thrilled and over the moon. As  last year was a hoot and would definitely   be coming back this year.  Camera gear and gumbies packed, assistant Trav also picked up, it was off to Willow Grove to Bindaree Station we headed Sat morning.  The weather Sat morning looked promising with a beautiful sunrise greeting us on arrival. Saturdays loops of stages were on top of the property which were very challenging for drivers, and photographers, unless your a mountain goat, I played safe until Sunday.

With Saturday stages done, there was a massive downpour Saturday night/Sunday morning which was going to be a mudfest, I was warned that my car probably wouldnt make it down to the stages. But my Skoda Yeti aka Kermit surprised everyone and made it down there and back! But boy the amount of mud about was a sight to behold. The Sunday stages were great and seeing Driver and Winchman pushed to the extremes!

With the rain on and off during the Sunday also made conditions even more tricky! But that didnt hamper anyones spirit as everyone still gave 100%, Perfect conditions for 4wds indeed! For any car fans that have never been to an event like this, I can say it is well worth checking out and looking into. Alot more accessable than a race track with the action right up close and no 10 foot high fences blocking your view! And also the bonus of getting out in the country side and seeing our lovely state as well is a bonus. Seeing all the different performace combos of these cars sound fantastic echoing through the hills!  So thats a wrap for this year and hopefully we will be back again next year.  For now enjoy the gallery below  till next time.
